Day Seven
Well, I’ve made it one week. Woo hoo for me. One week of ingesting only specially-formulated lemonade, water, and peppermint tea.
Last time I did this, it was truly a physical challenge. This time, it’s all mental. Physically, it’s been almost easy. I’m not hungry, no detox headaches, no weakness, no fuzzy thinking — none of the stuff that I suffered from in the first stint I did on the Lemonade Diet.
This time, it’s tough mentally. I want to lick everything I see, just to taste it. I want to chew. I’m not hungry. There’s no physical reason to lick or chew anything. I just want to. And, man, is it hard to stick to the plan.
On a pleasant note, if my home scale is right, I’ve lost 12 pounds in the last week. That’s awesome.
