Restful Day
Today was very quiet and restful. I woke up tired and sore, and with a sore throat, so we didn’t go to church. I want to make sure that Lobster Boy is completely free from Scarlet Fever before we get up close and personal with folks again anyway.
So we puttered around the house all morning, eating simple breakfast and lunch, and playing video games. We completed another level in the River King game.
Around 4, we headed over to my brother’s house to swim in his pool. At about 7, the kids’ lips were blue, so I made them get out. Then we played games on his Wii while my parents and my brother grilled burgers and hot dogs.
We are tired, but rested. Now I’m off to pack my purse and briefcase for work tomorrow, and lay out my clothes, and then it’s off to bed.
