15 Pounds Lost in Two Weeks!

Yep, you read that right. I weighed in this morning and I’m down 15 pounds from where I was when I started my new regimen … 9 pounds lost in the 10 days I’ve been on this lemonade diet.

Now, I can hear the skeptics saying “Yeah, it’s all water and will come back when you go back to eating food again.” But I’ve got you foiled! I’ve been testing my urine for ketones, and they are abundant. You only get ketones in your urine if you are metabolizing fat. So it’s not just water, it’s fat!

If I’d entertained any serious thoughts of quitting in the last few days, that would have changed my mind. If I can keep up the pound a day loss, I’ll be down 40 pounds by Easter — from 205 to 165. I might even be able to wear a 14 instead of an 18 or 16. That would be lovely.
