I’ve wondered about thieves ever since I was about 10, when someone broke into our home and stole six large cans of Crisco, all the hamburger in the freezer, and my mother’s giant-size laundry basket (among other things). Now, according to an AP report, another thief is apparently sniffing the same glue…
“Along with a Remington 870 Express shotgun, a custom-made pool cue and a Tupperware container with change, a 2-foot-long alligator was stolen from a Kenosha home by burglars.”
This was a little boy’s live pet alligator, and I have to wonder what on earth the thieves wanted with it. And what kind of state he must be in … ‘gators aren’t the most friendliest of creatures, and I don’t imagine this one would have been too pleased by being gatornapped.
