A lady in Phoenix might have been homeless tonight after a demolition crew tore down her house by mistake. The AP reports that the demolition crew was supposed to tear down the house across the street, but poorly marked house numbers made it difficult for the demolition crew to identify the house they were to destroy—-although one wonders why, as the house slated for squashing was boarded up and fenced in.
Fortunately, the lady who owned the house did not live there; she and her family were hoping to sell the house, and used it only for storage. Unfortunately, members of the erring crew may lose their jobs.
