Busy Season

It’s a busy time of year, with me in rehearsals for the church variety show, son #2 in soccer with practises and games, both sons in choir, me in bells (trying to see if I can handle it), and work and school.
I wasn’t home last night and won’t be home tonight or Thursday night. The kids won’t be home tonight or tomorrow night (until bedtime). Friday night they go to their dad.
There are advantages to X finally being on day shift, not least of which is that he can pick up the kids on Friday night, and he can help ferry them to and from sports practises.
But even with him finally being a part of it all, it’s a busy time of the year.
