If This Is Global Warming…
bring it on!!!
Every morning since Monday, we walk out the front door into a snow flurry. It’s beautiful, but the snow doesn’t stick. It’s gone by ten or so. We don’t usually get this kind of thing here. We’re in the South, after all, and it’s very unusual for us to even get snow. Usually, it’s cool in the winter, and it rains a lot. Occasional ice-storms. The rare overnight snowfall that melts by noon.
In my nearly 38 years of living here, I can remember only three times when we had a snow- (not ice-) storm that stuck to the ground and stayed for more than 24 hours.
Global warming is causing snow? Whatever. I like it.

Even in Darjeeling here in India we had unprecedented snow.
I’m just worried there’ll be a bounceback come summer and then we’ll get a very impressive shot of global warming. I’m totally over the beautiful snow, the ice, the zero or minus wind chills. And I’ve got to get out there and brush the snow off the car. I’m running out of toilet paper …
