What a Wild Day!
It was actually almost warm this morning when we left the house. It was raining a little, but it wasn’t bad. It rained off and on all morning, but it was still fairly warm at lunch time — a little cooler than at 8 a.m., but still not cold. They say the high today was 54. But by the time I went to mom’s at five, it was almost cold. And by the time we left for home, it was quite cold. In the 30s. It’s still raining off and on, and drizzling in between.
It was a quiet day at the office; I have three huge projects to do in the next few days, but they are manageable.
The kids are taking their baths and getting ready for bed … we had story time first tonight, as House is coming on, and, while I don’t watch a lot of television, House is one of my guilty pleasures. I really like Hugh Laurie. He’s a good actor. As soon as I get the little guys to bed, I’m going to pack their Valentine’s Day bags. Not a lot in them, just a couple of things from Dinstuhl’s Candy that they love. Dinstuhl’s has the best fruit slice candies on the planet. And the kids love them.
