Packing
Well, I’ve finally gotten pretty much everything the kids need all in one place. Now it’s a matter of cramming it into their suitcases, and then they are ready to leave on Saturday for their grand adventure.
I still have mixed feelings about this, but I am working very hard at being positive, upbeat, and “excited” about the trip. The boys pick up so quickly on small things, and I don’t want their trip spoiled by worry about me.
I’m making an extra effort to spend as much time as possible with them before they leave. I don’t think they’ve really noticed — but it matters to me.
Any expert air-travellers out there? Can the kids take their Walkmen and a couple of books on tape to occupy them on the airplane?

yes… My kids are expert flyers! Put their music, a snack, books, and any hand held video games they have in their backpack. The rest in rolling suitcases… that is all a child can really handle. And don’t forget lots of chewing gum or hard candy to keep their ears from popping too much!
