Getting Set for the Week
Ugh. I don’t want the week to start. I want to stay home and do stuff today. But … duty calls. SO I’m getting ready for the day. Getting the kids going … they don’t want to go anywhere today, either.
I have a doctor’s appointment today. I don’t want to go. I know when I get on the scale it’s going to show a gain, and that ticks me off. I’ve been walking and getting on the recumbent bike three times a week for nearly a month now, and I’ve gained weight. Yeah, I know that muscle weighs more than fat but takes up less room. But my clothes fit the same, and I’ve gained several pounds. I am so not happy!
Well, heigh-ho, heigh-ho, it’s off to work I go.
