Okay, so they are predicting ice and freezing rain. I don’t care what it does — I want winter weather. I want the office closed for the day. I want a three-day weekend. Or four.
I had to completely redo all of the work I did yesterday afternoon, as the computer definitely gobbled it up. Couldn’t find it anywhere on the network. So I had to start over. Finished it at lunchtime — another four-hour stint getting it done. Sigh. Frustrating. Now I have to finish up that project.
But tomorrow is Friday (TGIF!). And tomorrow we also start a new phase of visitation with the ex. As he is now working days instead of second shift, he has asked to be allowed to have the kids from Friday evening through Sunday evening. I couldn’t really say “no.” I just hope it works out okay for the kids.
So I’ve packed the kids’ overnight bags tonight and paid the bills. Now it’s bedtime.
