March for Babies Day
Yes, I did the March for Babies today, broken toe and all. I took my crutches with me, but I ended up leaving them in the car. It just seemed easier to walk slowly and carefully than to try to crutch up and down hills and across grassy knolls. So I didn’t set any records, but I did meet my commitment.
I didn’t raise as much this year as last, but I got a later start this year. Last year, I started in January, this year, I started a month before the walk. I set a more modest goal this year, and I did meet it.
The Blogit Writers Group donation was made on Friday evening, and totaled $25. Anyone who wants to donate can still do so, just follow the link in my previous post about the walk, and you’ll go to my personal page where donation is made quite easy.
