Time Just Flies
We are working so hard on the house and other things, that computer pursuits, including blogging, have had to take a back seat.
Finally got the insurance claim completed, so now we are waiting on the adjuster to review it all. And now it’s tax time. LOTS of work to do in the next week to get that done on time. Then I’ll focus on the divorce issues and get that all settled.
I’m still waiting on the lawyer for the accident case, so it’s on the back burner and quiet for the moment.
And we are slowly, surely, getting the house in order. Got the new washer and dryer this week and can now do laundry at home instead of going to mom’s. Got the kitchen cabinets mostly organized … have to finish painting a couple of new shelves and then we can put EVERYTHING away and have the kitchen completely done. The rest is unpacking and little punch list items … paint touch-ups, and outlet covers, and the like.
Had a slight setback when the roof started to leak — apparently, the new bathroom fan vent has a flaw and will have to be repaired. They’ve applied a temporary seal to keep it dry until the repairs can be done.
But it’s going. It’s definitely going.
