Plugging Away

Saturday wasn’t as awful as I had feared, though I still had to get up at the crack of dawn. I got to the inspection station five minutes after it opened (opens at 0700) and the triple-line was already filling the driveway and spilling into the street. So I left at 0825 … which isn’t too horrible, I suppose. And the car passed inspection, so there’s no need to go back for another year.

I got a bunch of this-and-that done on Saturday. And I’ve been working on my presentation all week. I think it’s going to go well. I hope so, anyway.

Work’s been really busy. So hard days there and long nights working on the extra-curricular stuff. Only two days left. We leave on Friday at 17:30 or 18:00. Three to four hour drive. But I don’t HAVE to be anywhere until noon. So I may pack my bathing suit, sleep late, and enjoy the pool. Or I may just sleep until noon. That would be novel!
