Tired, But Happy

It won’t be long now. We’re almost back in the house. We unloaded the POD this weekend. 14 hours of work on Saturday, and 8 on Sunday. A lot of stuff went to the storage building nearby. It’s still paid-for storage, but instead of paying $200 for the POD every month, plus the $65 for my storage unit and the $54 for my brother’s unit, now I’m down to just the two cheap units. And once we have the yard sale, I’ll be down to just the $54 unit. That saves money!

We still have work to do in the house, but most of it is smallish stuff. Install the ceiling fans. Touch-up paint work. Install the bathroom sink. Hook up the dishwasher. Little things.

So we’ll be working at the house a lot this week. But it won’t be long now. And I’m looking forward to being home.
