I Will Be Away for a Couple of Days…
After I leave work tomorrow, I have to go to the bank and Auto Zone, and then to my mom’s to load the car. We are going to a curriculum fair in Jackson, about an hour northeast of Memphis. I represent Doorposts at the fairs in my area–showing their products and earning a commission on my sales. It’s a lot of fun, especially since I really do like and use their books and charts in my home-education and training programme.
Things being as they are, we are going to drive to Jackson and set up tomorrow afternoon. The expo starts at 6 and ends at 10. We’ll drive back to Memphis and spend the night at Mom’s, then we will get up and drive back to Jackson the next morning for the rest of the fair, which ends at 6. We should be back in Memphis by 8 or so.
But, as I must leave work early tomorrow, there’s not much likelihood of my squeezing in more than the Blog Seed for the day. And I will be completely incommunicado after that, probably until Sunday, as I imagine that I will be completely exhausted on Saturday evening and will pick up the kids and go straight home to bed.
We’re still battling flies, heaven help us! It seems like the more of them we kill, the more of them there are. I wonder if the live ones are resuscitating the dead ones at night while I sleep….
