Why Is It That…
Things always pile up? I have managed, once again, to plan a completely full weekend with no rest in sight. A not-good thing, especially as this is my weekend with the kidlings. I have to take my son to get his picture made tomorrow, and then a dear friend is getting married in a city an hour away in the afternoon. I don’t want to miss her wedding — in fact, I refuse to miss her wedding — but it means that I lose my yard-work morning and my house-work afternoon. I’m taking a quick break at the moment from planning out the weekend so that I can get at least half of everything done. LOL.
The pix mean we have to leave the house no later than 10 a.m., and they’ll take us about an hour. The trip to the 3:00 wedding must start no later than 1:30, and the wedding and reception will be at least two hours, with another hour or so for the trip home. So I’m figuring that we’ll get home somewhere around 6:30 … if we don’t stop for supper. That’s just time for dinner, baths, and bedtime story.
Ah well. I’ll just have to work extra hard and fast when I get up in the morning … which means I’d better get to bed so that I can get up in the morning.
